George Raun, who helped develop the online coupon business Honey, has put his mansion in Los Angeles up for sale at a staggeringly high price of $150 million. The estate is an architectural tour de force, boasting views of Los Angeles in every direction. The interior of the Bel Air home is breathtaking, but the outdoor living space is what makes this property such a dream for those who like to host gatherings.
The over 21,000 square foot estate in Los Angeles is currently on the market for $150 million, which puts the price per square foot at more than $7000.The home on Stradella Court that is now listed for sale by Compass features a total of nine bedrooms and fourteen bathrooms. Both the interior and exterior of the home offer unobstructed views of the Los Angeles skyline.
Santa, an architecture firm with a stellar reputation all over the world, was responsible for designing the mansion. To take full advantage of the breathtaking scenery, the master bedroom features windows that reach from floor to ceiling. Additionally, it has a door that leads out onto a large terrace.
A breathtaking infinity pool that also has a view of the city can be found outside the hotel. The entire backyard has been transformed into a beautiful environment for outdoor gatherings, complete with a fire pit that has been dug into the ground, quiet cabana spaces, and an outdoor kitchen. There is, of course, a magnificent chef’s kitchen on the interior, which is outfitted with Miele and Gaggenau appliances.
The living areas that are located in the heart of the house have an open floor plan so that one space flows naturally into the next. Unsurprisingly, there is also a filthy kitchen for the workers to use, and it is conveniently located just next to their private apartments.
Quartzite is used for the kitchen worktops in the co-founder of Honey’s house, and marble is used in the baths, wardrobes, and other luxurious areas throughout the home. This amazing house also includes a fitness center as well as private spas. In addition to that, there is a detached guesthouse that comes complete with its own pool to round out the deal.
The fact that George Raun was able to construct a mansion with such a high value and such a high level of luxury is not surprising given that PayPal purchased Honey for $4 billion in the year 2020. Following the completion of the acquisition, Raun purchased the unfinished property to have it finished by the architect’s Woods + Dangaran.
