The technological world keeps setting new records.
Recently, the Chinese mobile game developer NetDragon Websoft selected “Tang Yu” as its general manager. Tang Yu is a virtual human assisted by artificial intelligence.
The virtual CEO, Ms. Tang Yu, began her role at the company’s main subsidiary, Fujian NetDragon Websoft, on August 26 after the appointment.
According to a statement from the company, Tang Yu will support decision-making during regular business operations and offer a better risk management system. She will serve the board as a real-time analytics tool and data center as well.
Other responsibilities of Tang Yu include ensuring that the staff work in a fair atmosphere.
The strength of AI
To imagine modern technologies without artificial intelligence would not make much sense. Therefore, Dr. Dejian Liu, the company’s creator, highlights the significance of this upswing in the business.
According to Dr. Dejian Liu, “We believe AI is the future of corporate management. Our appointment of Ms. Tang Yu demonstrates our resolve to embrace the use of AI to alter the way we run our organization and ultimately drive our future strategic growth.”
As we gradually transition to a metaverse-based working community, he continued, “Looking ahead, we will continue to expand on our algorithms behind Tang Yu to build an open, interactive, and highly transparent management model, which will enable us to attract a much broader base of talents worldwide and put us in a position to achieve bigger goals.”
